About Us

We are a faith based group that is passionate about putting an end to human trafficking now! We believe that all people are called to be free as stated in the Bible in Galatians 5:13.

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. –Galatians 5:13 [NIV]

Human trafficking is a real problem and not just for some country thousands of miles away. Human trafficking is a problem in the USA, in your state, and possibly in your own community.

God has called us into freedom – we believe all people should have this right. We refuse to let apathy define our community’s position on slavery. We are servants of Christ who choose to serve others through love, and guide them towards Christ’s eternal freedom.

 Who We Are

Abolition513 is a group of Christ Followers who believe that God has created all people to be free, as stated in Galatians 5:13. Apathy towards human trafficking is not acceptable or God honoring and we will do whatever it takes to defeat this evil.  We have started the work of raising awareness, sharing resources, and connecting people to combat human trafficking in Douglas County, the State of Oregon, and The United States.

Our long-term vision is to make human trafficking awareness, and knowledge of how to spot it, a common family conversation. We want to equip families with the knowledge of how to save their children before they are lost.  We want people from all walks of life to know that the evils of human trafficking are real and they can do something about it. We want all people to be equipped with the skills needed to help put a stop to any traffickers they might encounter in their lives.  We want our community to develop a reputation that strikes fear into the hearts of human traffickers; so they know that every inch they take in our community will mean Christ followers taking a mile from their dark industry.  We desire that every soul enslaved in human trafficking will be rescued and ushered into the arms of our loving Savior.
